य इदं परमं गुह्यं मद्भ‍क्तेष्वभिधास्यति ।

ya idaṁ paramaṁ guhyaṁ

bhaktiṁ mayi parāṁ kṛtvā

There are many important words in this Shlok which Krishna is saying to Arjun. In this shlok, Krishna is referring to Himself as the most hidden truth of Vedic literatures. Krishna is the Supreme Personality of Godhead. There are many Gods or controllers of this universe but Krishna is the origin of all, living and non-living matter. य इदम refers to Him. No other scripture other than Vedic scriptures give us direct information about God. But in Bhagavad Gita, He directly speaks to humanity. Everyone is searching for God, but no one knows His looks, His thinking and His outlook.

Only His devotee knows Him as He is. But before anyone can become His devotee, that person needs to know about Him. A devotee of Krishna can only introduce Him to others. And others also need to be His devotee before that person can receive His message.

Even if a person doesn’t have any faith, he or she may simply chant His name as mentioned in Kali Santarana Upanishad with the following mantra –

Hare Krishna Hare Krishna Krishna Krishna Hare Hare | Hare Ram Hare Ram Ram Ram Hare Hare ||

हरे कृष्ण हरे कृष्ण कृष्ण कृष्ण हरे हरे

हरे राम हरे राम राम राम हरे हरे

But chanting His name even without faith initially, one is accepted as His neo devotee. But that is good enough.

That person now becomes qualified to receive information about Krishna, the original source of everyone and everything. When a preacher brings more new people to become a devotee of Krishna , then that preacher becomes very dear to Him. That preacher achieves the ultimate salvation after attaining God, that is without doubt. Completely assured by Krishna.

This act of preaching is considered the highest karma. This preacher is assured of attaining the Kingdom of Krishna or the Supreme Personality of Godhead.

Everyone in this world is welcome to become a devotee of Krishna or Hari or Vishnu. That’s the original sattology.
