Ayurveda has a preventive cure to all diseases. In fact, Ayurveda is a science to increase one’s longevity. Ayurveda is part of Vedic sciences and it is the world’s oldest medical treatise. Most medical sciences find their origin in Ayurveda. One of the foremost solutions of Ayurveda is a healthy sattvik diet. A diet that invigorates your soul, healthy mind and a healthy body. Sattvik means mode of goodness. Mode of goodness keeps us healthy.
Mode of passion (rajsic) keeps us with low energy and mode of ignorance (tamsic) takes away our energy.
Western medicine system is based on Rajsic and Tamsic guna (गुण) but it also provides emergency solutions. Ayurveda is a preventative system. Like it is said Prevention is better than cure. That’s the basic difference.
Aayush Ministry of India has recommended the following preventative cure for Indians:
The advisory suggests intake of anti-malarial Ayurvedic drug, AYUSH 64, developed by the ministry, use of sesame oil in the nose, and Tulsi, ginger, Guduchi (tinspora cordifolia) and turmeric in diet.
In addition, they have recommended basic preventative hygiene such as washing hands and feet, avoiding social gatherings and strictly avoiding traveling unless required for emergency purposes.
On the spiritual side, prayers to Dhanvantari (Devata for Medicine) helps tremendously: Om Namo Bhagavate Vasudevaaya Dhanvantaraye Amrita-kalasha HastaayaSarva-amaya Vinashaaya Trailokya Naathaya Dhanvantri Maha-vishnave Namaha.
ॐ नमो भगवते वासुदेवाय धन्वन्तरये अमृतकलश हस्ताय
सर्वामय विनाशनाय त्रैलोक्यनाथाय श्री महाविष्णवे नमः ||
Om Vaasudevaya vidmahe
vaidyarAjAya dheemahi
tanno dhanvantari prachodayAt
ॐ वासुदेवाय विद्महे
वैद्यराजाय धीमहि
तन्नो धन्वन्तरि प्रचोदयात्
Chanting those mantras along with Harinam such as the following will help tremendously by giving strength to your soul thereby to your body and mind.

Consume only those Foods that give your body strength. Any food that has cow ghee (घी), turmeric (हल्दी), Asafoetida (हींग) ginger (अद्रक) and Jira (जीरा) will definitely increase your immunity to fight these diseases. Hot tea of turmeric and licorice (मुलेठी) will also help in building up immunity against any sort of virus.
Make sure to drink lots of warm water and keep your diet very simple. Food such as lentils, yogurt, rice and beans are preferred over other foods because they require less energy to digest.
Fruits must be washed well before consumption. Focus on more home cooked meals because then you know what you are eating. Human intestines are very long, therefore, a well cooked vegetarian diet always consumes less energy and avoids any carcinogenic substances. Daily Surya Namaskar and yoga will help you to keep your nervous system strong. Therefore, the mantras as mentioned before should be chanted to give strength to our mind.
Just in case you are already diagnosed with the virus, you must follow the guidelines of CDC or any of your local health authorities to get immediate treatment.
But keep chanting the mantras and other dietary solutions as mentioned above. Fighting against viruses is easier than fighting with our own mind, therefore, keep chanting the mantras. Keep the Guna of Goodness higher. Spiritual strength will help one fight with any disease better.
