आरभ्य भवतो जन्म यावन्नन्दाभिषेचनम् ।
एतद् वर्षसहस्रं तु शतं पञ्चदशोत्तरम् ॥ भागवत पुराण
Approximately 5122 years before, The Supreme Personality of Godhead, Shri Krishna left this planet. After that the dynasties from Magadha ruled the planet. After He left, the following dynasties ruled.
Vardrathas (32 Kings)
Beginning of Kaliyuga – Nanda Dynasty 1150 yrs
(Pradyotana Dynasty (5 kings) – 138 Years
Shishunaga Dynasty (10 kings) – 360 years)
Nanda Dynasty 100 yrs
Mauryan Dynasty of Chandragupta 137 yrs
(10 kings)
Sunga Dynasty (10 kings) 112 yrs
( bhutananda, Vangiri, shishunandi, yashonandi, praviraka)
Kilakila with 13 sons, known as Bahlika, King Pshpamitra, Durmitra, 7 Andhra, 7 Kaushala, Kings of Vidura and Nishad Province. Then, King Vishwasphurji, Gupta Dynasty appeared in Magadha who will rule from Haridwar to Prayag.
The land along the Sindhu River, as well as the districts of Candrabhāgā, Kauntī and Kāśmīra, will be ruled by Mlecchas after that.
As per Bhagavatam, in the beginning of Kali Yuga, Buddha appears. He was born in Anjana in Kikata country which is around Gaya in Bihar today. Buddha preached Non-Violence that was being done misusing Vedic injunctions.
तत: कलौ सम्प्रवृत्ते सम्मोहाय सुरद्विषाम् ।
बुद्धो नाम्नाञ्जनसुत: कीकटेषु भविष्यति ॥ २४ ॥
Buddha’s appearance is towards the middle of Maurya dynasty and towards the beginning of Sunga dynasty. That usually falls into 1370 and 1387 years after Krishna left this planet. Ashok may have met Buddha because during his time Buddhism became popular in that region.
The actual time of Buddha’s appearance is much older than what is documented in world history by western academicians. (Indian Historians have also deliberately miscalculated for unknown reasons.) Why Indian Historians blundered? Were they worried about their dollars?
To conclude Buddha appeared between 3752 – 3769 years before, as per Vedic calendar.
This questions the modern estimations of the current historians. Why have they so grossly missed this simple calculation of dates based on Vedic scriptural evidence? Did they have any agenda? Was there an attempt to justify the birth of Jesus to spread Christianity or political influence of Church? The Indian historians also have a lot to answer. I hope my calculation initiates more academic debate. It’s time for historians to rewrite world history based on facts. We invite Buddhist scholars to also contribute and consolidate historical proofs.
With this simple calculation, the timelines of many historical events stand questioned.
